Please allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Steve and Copper Runyon. We are the sole owners of Hub City Chrome, Big Truck Accessories. We opened up Hub City Chrome in the fall of 1997. You've all heard the expression of starting a business on a "shoe string"; I laughingly refer to our opening budget as "dental floss". But here it is, 22 years later, hopefully a bit wiser, and admittedly much grayer.
Steve drove for over 23 years, all the while trying to figure out how to get out of the truck without getting away from trucks. Heck, he even had the name, Hub City Chrome, picked out 4 years before opening the store. (He used to wake me up in the middle of the night with name ideas.)
We believe that the best form of customer service is product knowledge, education, and quality products above all.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE : Knowing what will and will not fit the year, make, and model of your truck. This is not an easy task. If you have shopped elsewhere and received the wrong items, you can understand this firsthand.
EDUCATION: This concept may sound odd, but educating our customers about how to best spend their money is very important to us. Example: You can spend $ .50 for a chrome steel nutcover which will rust within 6 months and need to be replaced. Or you can spend $1.50 on a chrome plastic nutcover, triple chrome plated, right here in the USA, and not have to worry for 4 or 5 years. We will tell you the pros and cons, and then let you make an educated decision about how you wish to spend your money.
QUALITY FIRST: Possibly, our most unique quality of customer service is "Quality before Price" and our commitment to USA-made products. If you have ever been in our store, then you have surely heard "the schpeel". Products made in the USA are often more expensive, but they fit better, are made out of superior materials, and last longer. How many times do you want to buy the same item? And after you've replaced that "cheaper" item several times because it didn't last, how much money have you really saved? Buy quality items from the start and you are money ahead in the end. We would prefer our customers view our store as the "go to" place for quality merchandise rather than the cheapest merchandise.

We are not just a website! We are living, breathing and aging (ha ha) people who are here for you!
If you wish to place an order on our site, great! That is what it is there for......your convenience, when you are waiting at a dock at 3am to get unloaded and wish to place an order. But we are always a phone call away to answer any and all questions you may have. Once you place your order online, the computer part of it is done. Then we take over. We put your order together, call you if need be, to make certain that you are getting the correct part for your truck, etc. Then and only then will your credit card be charged.
We are located 40 miles south of the Hwy 58/Hwy 97 Jct. and 45 miles north of Klamath Falls, Oregon on US Highway 97, at milepost 234.
